Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need my own saxophone?

Yes. You will need a saxophone to practise with.

If you're starting out, hiring a sax can be a good idea, or purchasing a new or secondhand instrument. It's best to get the advice of someone who knows before taking the plunge. Ben can help you select an appropriate instrument.

Do I need to buy any particular book to work from?

Not initially. Ben uses a range of materials for learners at different levels of ability and with different goals. We'll discuss what you might need in the course of your lessons.
